A book with a healing purpose
December 8, 2025
Juny the Butterfly Boy is a compelling and compassionate story of explaining loss and death. I recommend this book for a child who has lost a loved one, and needs help in coping with a profound loss. The author draws on her own experience with loss to assist the young reader in making sense of their own loss. The delightful illustrations assist in holding a young reader’s attention.
